Everything you need to know about getting started, our memberships and common training questions.
First, we’ll have a 15-minute phone call to discuss your goals and tell you more about our training methods.
Then, you’ll get three one-on-one sessions where we analyse your movement patterns, your current nutrition standards and we go through a health questionnaire. We address anything out of the ordinary and specific to you.
From there, you’ll be able to choose which membership is right for you and we’ll be there to help you progress through your individual action steps. We’re here to help set you up for long-term success.
A positive attitude, your smile and an open mind to learn new things. Comfortable workout clothes and shoes help too.
We owe part of the success of our members to our personalised approach to group training. This means our group classes are capped at 12 people so that we can give enough attention and support to every single one of our members.
To attend sessions, you will need to sign-up for a recurring weekly membership, but that’s it. There are no annual or joining membership fees, and no lock-in contract. You can cancel at any time with one week of notice.
Yes, all are welcomed. We regularly have people from all around the world come in.
Yes, we’d love for you to bring a friend along, but they do need to book a call with us before getting started.
It doesn’t matter what level of fitness you start with when you first walk through our door, but you do need to go through our discovery process. Our physical assessments and your first few visits will allow us to show you the ropes so that you can get through our training sessions safely, comfortably and with a reduced risk of injury.
Your current level of fitness is not what we care most about. What matters is your desire to be committed to a healthy lifestyle, to join a community of like-minded fitness enthusiast and to put in the hard work. And as we’ve said, during the initial sessions we will show you how to maintain the right posture for any movement, all while taking into consideration any personal adjustments that are necessary.
We don’t try new workouts just because they look fun. All of our training programs are based on sound scientific research. Our training philosophy is holistic. We approach fitness from all angles; we respect metabolic conditioning protocols, we balance anaerobic and aerobic sessions all while conducting strength and mobility training sessions.
Choosing SSF as your gym means you’ll join a supportive community who cares about your well-being in the long run. We train in small groups so that you get the perfect balance of motivation that comes from training with like-minded individuals while getting enough attention from your trainer to make sure you’re doing the right movements as they should.
